CU Insured partners with your local Credit Unions will host a series of free online seminars for Credit Union Members and Staff, along with family and friends. The seminars can be watched from the comfort of your home or office through mobile phone, tablet or laptop and will last approx. 45 minutes.

• Thursday May 7^th @ 4pm – Life & Income Protection during COVID-19 Online Seminar – the topics to be discussed include: Will my life cover pay if I die from COVID-19? What happens to my cover if I get COVID-19 and get seriously ill? Can I take out additional life cover now? Can I take out a policy for my children?

• Monday May 11^th @ 4pm – Getting Mortgage Ready Online Seminar– the topics to be discussed include: First-time buyers – How to prepare for a mortgage application? Key issues that can lead to mortgage refusal – main areas banks underwriters focus on when looking at a mortgage application?

• Monday May 18^th @ 11 am – How Pensions Work Online Seminar– the topics to be discussed include: Should I Stay, or Should I Go? – thinking about early retirement? How do I estimate my pension benefits? Your entitlement to a State Pension – are you an A or D class PRSI payer? How much tax relief do I get on my pension contributions? How much tax will I pay on my pension income?
